Robert Denton is a Project Engineer, where he works to help manufacturers with instrumentation and controls training and problem-solving.

Including three years with ATN, Denton has thirty-seven years in industry and education. His primary knowledge and skills are based in the industrial maintenance world. They include Programmable Logic Controllers, Instrumentation, Electrical Safety, pneumatics, hydraulics, and maintenance management strategies.

Prior to joining ATN, Denton was the Instrumentation and Controls Instructor for Alabama Southern Community College and responsible for developing the Electrical and Instrumentation Program. While there, the program, which started with six students, increased to over fifty students enrolling per semester.

A graduate from Athens State University, Denton holds a degree in Post-Secondary Technical Education. When not hard at work, he enjoys camping and sailing. Denton also holds an Associate in Applied Science from Hobson State Technical College and an Associate of Science from Alabama Southern Community College.
