Urszula Beckford

Urszula Beckford is an experienced professional with a strong background in biotechnology and diagnostics. Currently serving as an Associate at Alacrita LLP since October 2009, and as the Owner of an independent consulting business since March 2009, Urszula has developed a diverse skill set. Prior roles include Biologic Reagents Strategy Manager and Site Head for Biologic Reagents manufacture at Abbott Diagnostics from 2004 to 2009, where responsibilities included strategizing for biologic reagents and overseeing significant site transfers. Urszula’s earlier experience includes serving as Biotechnology Department Manager at Murex Biotech Ltd from 1995 to 2003 and as Section Head R&D at Wellcome Diagnostics from 1988 to 1995. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Pharmacology from the University of London and a BSc in Biochemistry from Sheffield University, alongside completion of a program at London Business School in 2007.
