Gabriel Thomalla has over 8 years of professional experience. In 2011, they began their career as an Intern in Marketing & After-Sales at BOMAG GmbH. Gabriel then moved on to become an Executive Assistant at Häger Consulting China Co. Ldt. in 2012. In 2013, they joined Roland Berger Strategy Consultants as an Associate Consultant. In 2014, they took on a Business Development role at foodora. In 2015, they became an Advisor / Entrepreneur in Residence at sensorodit.com. In 2016, they Co-Founded Kaia Health, where they held the role of Growth. In 2017, they joined wundertax GmbH as a Member of the Advisory Board. Most recently, in 2020, they became the Founder & CPO of Alaiko, Europe's leading fulfillment-as-a-service platform.

Gabriel Thomalla completed a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Managementwissenschaften from WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management between 2011 and 2014. In 2013, they also completed a Study Abroad in Business Administration from the University of Michigan - Stephen M. Ross School of Business. Following this, they completed a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Strategic Market Creation from Copenhagen Business School between 2014 and 2016.
