Roopa Comandur

Roopa Comandur has a diverse work experience in the scientific field. Roopa began their career at The Ohio State University as a Graduate Teaching Assistant, where they worked from 2011 to 2014. After that, they joined the university again as a Postdoctoral Researcher in Biochemistry from January 2017 to July 2017. Roopa then moved on to SafeWhite, Inc as an Associate Scientist from August 2017 to September 2018. Following this, Roopa joined BioVision, an Abcam company, and held the position of Postdoctoral Researcher from February 2020 to December 2021, and later became an Associate Scientist from January 2022, their current role. In 2022, they joined Alamar Biosciences, Inc as a Scientist, where they are currently employed.

Roopa Comandur obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Biochemistry from The Ohio State University, which they attended from 2011 to 2016. Prior to that, they pursued a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Chemistry from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras from 2009 to 2011. Roopa'sundergraduate education was completed from 2005 to 2008 at Stella Maris College, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Chemistry.
