Vasudha Murlidhar

Vasudha Murlidhar has a diverse work experience in the field of biosciences. Vasudha has recently worked as a Senior Scientist at Alamar Biosciences, Inc., starting in January 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Advanced Cell Diagnostics, where they held the role of Senior Scientist from February 2019 to October 2021. At Advanced Cell Diagnostics, they led assay development for multiple in-situ hybridization products and played a key role in new product development and assay automation. Before that, they briefly worked at inui Health as a Scientist, focusing on in-vitro diagnostics.

Vasudha also has experience in academic research. Vasudha served as a Postdoctoral Scholar at the University of California, Davis from July 2017 to August 2018. Prior to that, they worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Michigan from October 2016 to June 2017. During their time at the University of Michigan, they also served as a Graduate Student Researcher and a Graduate Student Instructor.

Additionally, Vasudha has industry experience from their time as a Summer Intern at Biocon India Limited in 2010. Vasudha also gained research experience as a Summer Research Fellow at the Institute Of Chemical Technology in 2009.

Vasudha Murlidhar has an educational background in Chemical Engineering. Vasudha completed their Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) degree in Chemical Engineering at the National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli from 2007 to 2011. Vasudha then pursued further education at the University of Michigan, where they obtained a Master of Science in Engineering degree in Chemical Engineering from 2011 to 2013. Vasudha continued their studies at the University of Michigan and earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Chemical Engineering from 2011 to 2016.

In addition to their academic degrees, Vasudha Murlidhar has obtained several certifications in the field of Immunology. In February 2019, they completed the "Fundamentals of Immunology Specialization" from Coursera. Vasudha also completed individual courses such as "Fundamentals of Immunology: Death by Friendly Fire," "Fundamentals of Immunology: Innate Immunity and B-Cell Function," and "Fundamentals of Immunology: T Cells and Signaling," all from Coursera, in January and February 2019.
