Ramses Escobedo

Ramses Escobedo currently serves as the Division Director for Community Libraries at Alameda County Library, overseeing various library branches. Prior experience includes roles as Branch Manager at San Mateo County Libraries and San Francisco Public Library, where responsibilities encompassed daily operations and community outreach. Additionally, Ramses has experience in public health as a Contact Tracer Team Lead during the COVID-19 pandemic, and has held numerous librarian positions since 1997 across various library systems. Ramses holds a Master of Library and Information Science and multiple Bachelor's degrees in Psychology and Spanish Language and Literature from San José State University, alongside an Associate's degree in Psychology.
