Miguel Pimentel

Miguel Pimentel holds a Master's degree in Counselor Education/School Counseling and Guidance Services from San José State University and dual Bachelor's degrees in Ethnic Studies and Spanish from California State University - East Bay. Currently, Miguel serves as a Program Manager for Student Welfare & Attendance at the Alameda County Office of Education and as an Adjunct Professor in the School of Education at the University of San Francisco. Miguel has extensive experience in academic counseling and support for diverse student populations, particularly focusing on undocumented and immigrant youth in previous roles at various educational institutions. Notable positions include Coordinator of the Undocumented Student Resource Center at California State University - East Bay and Dream Center Coordinator at Las Positas College. Additionally, Miguel has worked as a Mental Health Clinician and has held several academic and administrative positions in counseling services.
