Courtenay Gonzalez has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Courtenay began their career in 2004 at Costco Wholesale, where they started as a Front End employee and worked their way up to become a supervisor in both the Pharmacy and Membership/Refunds departments. Courtenay demonstrated excellent customer service skills and reorganized the department during their time there.

In 2007, Courtenay worked as a Fitness Instructor at the YMCA of San Francisco, teaching Spin and Body Sculpting classes at two different locations. Courtenay had a loyal following of regular attendees due to their motivational teaching style and eclectic music taste.

Later in 2007, Courtenay joined Live Out Loud as an Assistant Marketing Manager. Courtenay started as a temp but quickly proved their efficiency, leading to a permanent position on the team. Courtenay initially worked as an account representative but eventually transitioned to the Marketing department, where they prepared marketing materials and managed the CRM with a focus on data quality.

From 2009 to 2011, Courtenay served in the Peace Corps as a Healthy Homes Volunteer in Guatemala. Courtenay lived and worked in a rural community, delivering education on health topics and implementing hygienic resources such as latrines and stoves.

After their service in the Peace Corps, Courtenay joined Ellis Eye LASIK Surgery Center in 2011 as a Patient Care Technician. Courtenay fulfilled multiple roles, including Patient Counselor, Spanish Translator, and Billing Assistant. Courtenay also managed 3 satellite offices and maintained the supply room and paperwork.

From 2012 to 2016, Courtenay worked as a Staff Scientist at ERM: Environmental Resources Management, contributing their expertise to environmental projects.

In 2017, Courtenay joined In Home Support Services Consortium as a Caregiver, providing in-home care for a patient with Cerebral Palsy. Courtenay assisted with daily living activities and meal preparation.

Also in 2017, Courtenay started working at Alameda Health System as a Staff Nurse and later became a Staff Nurse II in Critical Care. Courtenay continues to work in critical care, demonstrating their expertise in this field.

Courtenay Gonzalez completed their education in two different institutions. From 2016 to 2017, they attended Samuel Merritt University, where they pursued a degree in Nursing, specifically in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse. Prior to that, from 2002 to 2006, they attended UC Santa Barbara and earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree. Their field of study at UC Santa Barbara focused on Biology, Health & Exercise Science.
