Colin Taylor

Colin Taylor has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over several industries. Colin began their career as a Lieutenant Commander in the Royal Navy and served there for 13 years. After leaving the Navy, they held various managerial and leadership positions within different companies. Notable roles include being the General Manager/Director of Business Development for Alamo Group Inc. in Europe, where they successfully reorganized and developed the French Division, leading to increased profitability. Colin also served as the Vice President of Europe for Teledyne Oil & Gas. Additionally, they were the Operations Director and Director of Product Management for JDR Cable Systems, responsible for expanding operational workflow and improving service and quality levels. Colin also held executive positions in Tuthill Controls Group, Springfix Linkages Ltd, Pickfords, CompAir Broomwade, and Atlas Copco. Throughout their career, Colin has demonstrated strong leadership, strategic thinking, and the ability to drive growth and success.

Colin Taylor's education history includes a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Warwick's Warwick Business School, which they pursued from 1991 to 1992. Before that, in 1987, they completed a Lieutenants Staff course at the Royal Naval College Greenwich. In 1984, Colin obtained a Postgraduate Diploma in Reactor Technology from the Royal Naval College Greenwich as well. Their earliest academic achievement is a Bachelor of Science (BSc Hons) in Mechanical Engineering, which they earned from the University of Southampton from 1979 to 1982.
