Jeremy Wale

Jeremy Wale has a diverse range of work experience spanning over 25 years. Jeremy is currently serving as the Head of Finance at Alamy, where they manage all aspects of finances for the company's four legal entities. Prior to this, they worked at BT as a Global Process Owner, where they were responsible for driving intercompany reporting during the implementation of SAP S4 Hana. Jeremy also served as a Global Supply Chain Finance SME at Centrica, leading inventory and gross margin reporting for the Connected Homes business unit.

Before that, Jeremy held various roles at GSK, including Finance Director - Inter-Company - Shared Services Centre, Finance Manager - Shared Service Centre, Finance Business Partner, Finance Manager - Supply Chain Accounting, and Finance Manager - Group Finance. In these positions, they managed intercompany monthly accounts, supervised R2R teams, and had overall accountability for profitability and financial reporting for multiple divisions. Jeremy also played a key role in finance transformation initiatives and process improvement efforts.

Jeremy's early career involved working at Coca-Cola European Partners as a Supply Chain Accountant and Stock System and Inventory Accountant. Jeremy was responsible for financial reporting, forecasting, and inventory control for the company's manufacturing sites and warehouses. Jeremy also worked at Kerry Foods in various financial roles, including Site Accountant, Management Accountant, Financial Accountant, and Graduate Management Accountant.

Throughout their career, Jeremy has demonstrated strong financial acumen, leadership skills, and the ability to drive process improvements.

Jeremy Wale began their education in 1990 at Torquay, where they pursued their A Levels. Jeremy then attended Cardiff University / Prifysgol Caerdydd from 1992 to 1995, earning a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Accounting and Business/Management. In 1996, Jeremy enrolled at The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants and completed their degree in Accounting (CIMA) in 1999. Later, in 2018, they attended Prince2 for a brief period to study Project Management and obtained a degree in Prince2.
