Sophie Arana

Sophie Arana is a skilled professional with a diverse background in research and data management. Currently serving as a Research Application Manager at The Alan Turing Institute since July 2023, Sophie is also a Data Engineer and Data Scientist at Skin Bliss since August 2021. Prior experience includes a role as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Oxford from September 2021 to June 2023 and as a PhD Candidate at the Max Planck Institute for Psycholinguistics from February 2017 to April 2021, focusing on the neurobiology of language. Additional experience as a Research Assistant at the Donders Institute for Brain, Cognition and Behaviour lasted from September 2016 to January 2017. Sophie holds a Master of Science in Neuroscience from Radboud University and a Bachelor of Arts in Germanic Languages, Literatures, and Linguistics from Freie Universität Berlin.
