Alex Flynn

Alex Flynn is a Cryo-EM Scientist at New York Structural Biology Center since January 2024. Prior to this, Alex was a Wellcome Trust PhD Student at the University of Leeds from September 2019 to March 2024, focusing on developing anti-viral small molecules. Alex also served as a Student Ambassador at the University of Leeds from September 2016 to December 2018, where they promoted the university and provided advice to potential students. In addition, Alex was an Industrial Placement Student at GSK from September 2017 to August 2018, working on protein production projects. Alex holds a PhD in Biochemistry from the University of Leeds.
