Waleed Somily

Waleed Somily is an experienced professional in strategic planning and organizational excellence, currently serving as the VP for Planning and Organizational Excellence at Alandalus Educational Company since February 2016. Waleed has a strong background in information technology, having previously held the position of Director of Information Technology, and earlier, Director and Deputy Director of Strategic Planning where key roles included leading strategic direction and corporate governance. Prior to current roles, Waleed served as Deputy Principal at Success Horizons Training Center and General Manager at Alandalus Educational Company, with earlier experience as Deputy Principal at the Suleiman bin Abdulaziz Al Rajhi Charity Foundation and Head of Programs and Activities Department at the Social Development Committee in Al-Minsk district. Waleed holds an MBA in Business Administration and Management with a focus on Strategic Planning from Edinburgh Business School, Heriot-Watt University, and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from King Khalid University.
