Drew Wightman

Drew Wightman has extensive experience in the healthcare and life sciences sector. Drew currently serves as the Managing Director of Healthcare & Life Sciences at Alantra, where they provide high value-added services in investment banking and credit portfolio advisory. Prior to joining Alantra, Drew worked at AstraZeneca as the Director of Deal Finance & M&A, where they played a key role in several major transactions, including the acquisition of Alexion Pharmaceuticals and collaboration with Daiichi Sankyo. Before that, they worked as an Assistant Director at Ernst & Young in their Corporate Finance division and as a Mergers & Acquisitions secondee at Novartis. Drew began their career at Deloitte, where they completed their graduate training program and achieved the ACA qualification as an Auditor.

Drew Wightman earned a BSc (Hons) in Management from Alliance Manchester Business School in 2001. In 2003, they attended ICAEW and obtained an ACA certification. Prior to that, they completed an MSc in Finance from the University of York in 2003.
