Mustafa Gafuroglu

Mustafa Gafuroglu has extensive experience in the construction and engineering sectors, currently serving as a Consultant to Alarko Contracting Group and as General Manager for Overseas Business Development and Construction at Alarko Holding since February 1998. Mustafa has a strong background in in-city rail transportation projects, having held roles such as Design Manager, Technical Manager, Project Manager, and Vice President. Previous positions include Vice Chairman of the Turkey-Romania Business Council at DEIK from March 2018 to March 2020, and various managerial roles at Vinnell-Brown & Root from 1993 to 1998, where significant engineering designs and facility improvement projects were completed at a NATO Air Force Base. Mustafa also worked as a Project Manager at Metis - Mesa Construction Consortium from 1989 to 1993, overseeing the construction of a seawater desalination plant. Mustafa holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Middle East Technical University, obtained in 1989.
