Katie Bernal

Katie Bernal has extensive work experience in the field of training and development. Katie started their career at PGi as an Account Development Manager, where they were responsible for sales support and achieved or exceeded quotas throughout their tenure. Katie then worked at FactSet as a New Hire Training Specialist, where they developed and managed new processes for the U.S New Hire Consulting Program. Katie later joined Michael Page as a Training Manager, where they designed and developed the first learning and development program for North America. At LivingSocial, they served as a Training & Communications Manager, implementing training curricula and communication strategies for multiple locations. Prior to their current role at Alarm.com as the Senior Director of Partner Education and Development Programs, Katie held positions at Intrepid Learning and Alarm.com as a Learning Consultant and a Director of Training, respectively.

Katie Bernal obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Training and Organizational Development from Fordham University between 2007 and 2009. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Communications: New Media at Fordham University, from 2001 to 2005. In 2014, Katie also earned a certification in Strategic eLearning: Revolutionizing Performance and Innovation via Technology from The eLearning Guild.
