Danhiel Vu

Danhiel Vu is a Full-stack Software Engineer at Alaska Airlines, involved in a founding team focused on developing an order management system for food orders generated from over 1,200 flights daily. Responsibilities include building a backend RESTful API, implementing SSO authentication, creating a single-page web application, developing microservices, and automating deployment processes using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. In a prior role as a Full-stack Software Engineer Intern, Danhiel enhanced the preorder food experience for customers by writing CI/CD pipelines, performing unit and integration tests, and optimizing database efficiency. Additionally, during an internship at The Postman, Danhiel contributed to an e-marketplace mobile application by developing RESTful APIs, leading architectural discussions, and creating a hybrid mobile app for iOS and Android. Danhiel holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Seattle University.
