Lana Demaria

Lana DeMaria, AIGP, FIP, CIPM, CISA, CIPP, MBA, currently serves as the Head of Data Governance and Privacy at Alaska Airlines, having been promoted after a year in the role. In this position, Lana leads the establishment and implementation of data governance functions across Alaska and Horizon Airlines. Prior to this, Lana held various roles at Microsoft, including HR Privacy Review Program Owner and Senior Marketing Privacy Manager, where responsibilities included managing privacy reviews, enhancing privacy programs, and advising marketing teams on customer engagement while prioritizing privacy. Lana's experience also includes leadership roles at Ernst & Young and positions in financial aid counseling and technology management during their early career. Lana holds multiple degrees, including an MBA from Washington State University and advanced cybersecurity training from Stanford University.
