Yiwen Chen

Yiwen Chen is a BI Analyst II at Alaska Airlines, responsible for developing an agent admin portal and framework for managing unstructured data, while also automating Excel validation processes to enhance workflow efficiency. Prior experience includes roles as a Platform Engineer at Hawaiian Airlines, where work involved creating proof of concept for XR applications, and as a Graduate Research Assistant at the Laboratory for Advanced Visualization & Applications, focusing on VR experiences for the Oceanic Institute. Yiwen also gained experience as a Summer Intern Software Engineer at Servco Pacific Inc., contributing to automation projects and UI development, and as a Web Application Developer at the University of Hawaii at Manoa, working on the UH GROUPING project. Yiwen holds a Master's degree in Computer Science and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of Hawaii at Manoa.
