Emily Beck

Emily Beck has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over 15 years. Emily'smost recent role is as the Senior Director of Talent Acquisition at Pursuit Collection, where they currently work. Prior to that, they worked as a Human Resources Consultant at The Inside Brand for 5 years, specializing in talent acquisition, process improvement, training, ATS implementations, vendor management, and special projects. Emily also served as a Recruiting Delivery Manager and Talent Acquisition Executive and Manager at IBM for 4 years. Emily gained experience in HR as a Senior HR Generalist and Diversity and Inclusion Specialist at Life Technologies for 2 years. During this time, they led a team to develop and deliver a world-class Diversity and Inclusion program, earning several accolades for the company. Emily started their professional career as a Graduate Student at the School of Labor and Employment Relations and also held internships at Hewitt Associates and Proudfoot Consulting. Emily has also worked as a Process Consultant at Proudfoot Consulting, an Associate Consultant at Vox, Inc., and an Associate Consultant at CSC. Emily Beck completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Economics at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign from 2002 to 2006. Emily then pursued a Masters degree in Human Resources and Industrial Relations at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign from 2009 to 2010. Emily also holds a certification as an IBM Design Thinking Practitioner, although the dates of obtaining this certification are not provided.
