Amy Byrne

Amy Byrne has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Amy is currently working as a Client Account Manager II - Business Sales at Alaska Communications since August 2022. Prior to that, they worked at GCI General Communication, Inc. from December 2018 to May 2022 as a Key Account Coordinator. Amy also has experience at GCI General Communication, Inc. in various roles including Commercial Account Manager, Commercial Retention Representative, Commercial Account Administrator, and Retail Specialist I from 2011 to 2018.

Before joining GCI, Amy worked as an Office Assistant II at the State of Alaska from June 2009 to January 2011. Amy also has experience as a Customer Service Representative III at Wells Fargo Home Mortgage from May 2007 to June 2009, and as a Helpdesk Technician at Matanuska Telephone Association from May 2005 to May 2007.

Amy Byrne attended the University of Alaska - MatSu College from 2011 to 2013, where they completed their Associate of Applied Science degree in General Business. Additionally, they obtained a Certified Telecommunications Network Specialist certification from the Teracom Training Institute in August 2022 and a Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) certification from the Project Management Institute in January 2023.
