Leonard Steinberg

Leonard Steinberg is Senior Vice President, Legal, Regulatory & Government Affairs at Alaska Communications. Prior to this, they were Of Counsel at Brena, Bell & Clarkson, P.C., where they performed legal work on behalf of energy and telecommunications clients. Leonard began their legal career as a Partner & Associate at Hosie, Wes, Sacks & Brelsford, LLP, where they represented clients in complex civil litigation. While at Hosie, Wes, Sacks & Brelsford, LLP, Leonard developed special expertise in oil and gas matters while representing the State of Alaska in Alaska North Slope oil royalty and tax disputes.

Leonard Steinberg has an MBA from the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business, a JD from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law, and an MPA from the Harvard Kennedy School. Leonard also has a BA in Biology and Environmental Studies from the University of California, Santa Cruz. Leonard is certified by the Alaska Bar Association as a member of the bar and by the California Bar Association as a member of the bar.

They are on a team with Diedre Williams - Vice President, Human Resources, Laurie Butcher - Senior Vice President, Finance. Their manager is Bill Bishop, President & CEO.
