Scott Shier

Scott Shier has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Scott started their career in 1989 in the US Navy as a Cryptologic Technician, where they maintained and operated complex circuits supporting over 700 communication systems. After their military service, they worked at Telecom Professional Services as a Technical Coordinator and later as a Field Engineer/ITA Support, providing technical support for various systems. Scott then joined WCI Cable, Inc as a Cable Landing Station Manager, responsible for the day-to-day operations of a fiber-optic cable landing facility. Scott also worked as a Senior Network Operations Center Technician, performing configuration and repair tasks on various network systems. Scott then joined Fiber SenSys as a Service Manager, responsible for technical support and training. Scott later worked at Sonitrol Pacific as an Installation and Service Manager, managing technicians and overseeing equipment inventory. Scott also served as a System Administrator at Bonneville Power Administration, specializing in physical access control systems. Most recently, Scott worked at Alaska Communications as a Sr. Network Operations Specialist, focusing on network operations.

Scott Shier attended North Torrance High School from an unknown start date to 1988. After that, they joined the US Navy, where they remained until 1997.
