Team Lead - IT Applications at Alaska Communications

Sterling Talbot has extensive work experience in the field of IT applications and software development. Sterling started their career at Computer Task Group in 1995, where they worked as a 4GL Developer and Software Engineer. During this time, they were involved in various projects such as Y2K compliance and the development of client/server applications using VB 5.0, Oracle, Crystal Reports, and other tools.

In 1999, Talbot joined Network Business Systems as a Software Developer, where they worked on in-house projects, system support, and developed an intranet application using ASP 3.

Talbot then moved to Alaska Communications in 2003, where they held multiple roles. Sterling started as a Lead Systems Analyst, leading a team in completing and transitioning the Directory Sub-System for the Siebel CRM Customer Application Front-End project. Sterling also developed web and windows applications, SQL Server database objects, and executed system enhancements. Later, Talbot became a Team Lead - IT Applications, supervising three .NET programmers and managing contractors and vendors for custom business applications.

Throughout their career, Talbot has demonstrated strong technical skills and expertise in various programming languages and tools, as well as leadership abilities in supervising teams and managing projects.

From 1990 to 1995, Sterling Talbot attended the University of Alaska Anchorage, where they obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a focus on Management Informations Systems.
