Zachary Goldberg

Zachary Goldberg has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and positions. Zachary is currently working as a System Administrator Tier 1 at Alaska Communications, a role they began in November 2021.

Prior to this, Zachary served in the US Army National Guard from 2009 to 2021. During their tenure, they held multiple roles including Team Leader, where they led a team of Culinary Professionals and ensured timely delivery of quality meals to service members. Zachary also worked as a Culinary Supervisor, responsible for overseeing a team of 12 culinary professionals and managing meal preparation. As a Signal Systems Support Specialist, they set up and monitored radio communications, provided network help desk support, and troubleshooted technical issues for mission support. Additionally, Zachary worked in administrative support and served as a Multimedia Illustrator during their time in the National Guard.

In 2021, Zachary also worked as an Information Technology Specialist at Schroeder Consulting Services LLC, and as a Constructive Simulations Engineer at DirectViz Solutions, LLC from January to April.

Prior to these roles, Zachary worked as a Senior Systems Administrator at General Dynamics from 2015 to 2017, providing help desk support to pilots and Airforce personnel, troubleshooting computer terminals, and performing system maintenance tasks. Zachary also worked as a HelpDesk Technician at MidoriServices Inc for a short period in 2015.

Zachary's work experience also includes a role as a Delivery Driver at Pizza Hut from 2013 to 2015, as well as positions in campaign work such as Regional Political Director for Tom Lackey for Assembly in 2014 and Communications Director for Paul Hannosh for Congress in 2014. Zachary also worked as an Usher/Concession staff member at Cinemark from 2012 to 2014.

Zachary Goldberg pursued a Master's degree in Project Management at the University of Alaska Anchorage from 2021 to 2023. Prior to this, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems from DeVry University, which they attended from 2010 to 2014. Zachary's secondary education took place at El Camino Real Charter High School, where they completed their studies in 2010. Apart from their formal education, they obtained the CompTIA Security+ ce certification from CompTIA in November 2016.
