Michael Singleton

Michael joined Alaska Housing Finance Corporation (AHFC) in 2014 as facilities manager for the Public Housing department. In 2018, he was promoted to director of facilities management after and he was assigned corporate property maintenance. He leads a team of 10 staff in support of statewide major and minor maintenance activities.

Michael began state service in 2004 with the Department of Military and Veterans Affairs Facilities Management Division where he provided major and minor maintenance services to Alaska Army National Guard and Alaska Court System facilities. His duties took him to more than 27 Alaskan communities from Little Diomede to Ketchikan and many points in between.

Michael is a graduate of the University of Alaska Anchorage. Michael holds a professional license for electrical administration and is a licensed journeyman electrician. Prior to state service Michael worked in the construction industry and inter- and intra-state shipping.

Born and raised in Southcentral Alaska Michael and his family try to take every opportunity to enjoy all that the state has to offer.
