Brian Ritchie

Brian Ritchie serves as the Director of EMS Operations at Alaska Medical Transport since March 2025. Prior to this role, Ritchie was the Quality Assurance Manager at Beacon Occupational Health and Safety Services, focusing on Quality Assurance Management for Remote Medical and Safety from September 2022 to March 2025. Ritchie has extensive experience in public health and emergency response, having worked as the Manager of Health Emergency Response Operations and EMS Data Manager for the State of Alaska's Division of Public Health from August 2018 to September 2022. Ritchie's previous roles include Practice Manager at MatSu Regional Medical Center and various key positions in the United States Air Force, where Ritchie developed medical contingency plans, managed medical operations, and led emergency support functions. Ritchie holds a Master's degree in Operations Management and multiple relevant associate and bachelor's degrees.
