Bailey Richards has extensive work experience in various roles and organizations. They began their career as a Seasonal Intern with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service in 2008. In 2009, Bailey worked as a Volunteer Intern at the Center for Alaskan Coastal Studies. From 2011 to 2012, they worked as a Seasonal Store Clerk at Alaska Wild Berry Products. In 2012, Bailey served as an Intern Museum Aide and Interpreter at the Pratt Museum. They also held multiple roles at Whitman College Bookstore, including Accounts Payable Intern, Sociology Research Assistant, Sales Associate, and Data Analysis Intern, from 2012 to 2014. From 2014 to 2015, Bailey worked as an AmeriCorps VISTA/CHIP Coordinator at Coos Health & Wellness. Most recently, Bailey worked at the Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium (ANTHC) as an AmeriCorps VISTA from 2016 to 2017, and subsequently as a Contamination Support Program Coordinator.
Bailey Richards attended Whitman College from 2010 to 2014, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree. During their time at Whitman College, Bailey focused their studies on Sociology and Environmental Studies.
