Calvin Ross

Calvin Ross has a diverse work experience across several companies and roles. Beginning in 2009, they worked as a Customer Service Representative at Pillbox Pharmacy. In 2010, they transitioned to a role as an Inside Sales Representative at National Oilwell Varco. In 2011, they joined Apple as a Genius, and stayed with the company until 2016. From 2016 to 2022, Calvin served in various roles at Anchorage School District, including Lead AV Technician and Field Support Supervisor. In 2022, they joined Unisys as a Field Support Engineer until 2023. Calvin's most recent positions include working as a Telehealth Technology Specialist at both Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium and The National Telehealth Technology Assessment Resource Center.

Calvin Ross attended LeTourneau University from 2002 to 2006, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Aeronautical/Aerospace Engineering Technology/Technician. In addition to their degree, Calvin also holds various certifications including Mental Health First Aid from the National Council for Mental Wellbeing, obtained in October 2021. Calvin obtained the certification for Managing Emotions Under Pressure from Pryor Learning Solutions in September 2017 and the certification for Making the Transition from Staff to Supervisor from the same institution in November 2016. Calvin is also certified as an Apple Certified iOS Technician by Apple, with certification obtained in October 2016, and as a Dell Certified Technician by Dell, certification obtained in June 2016. Furthermore, they are an Apple Certified Macintosh Technician, certified by Apple in July 2011. Calvin also has professional qualifications as an Airframe and Powerplant Mechanic and holds a Commercial Pilot Certificate, both obtained from the Federal Aviation Administration in July and June 2006 respectively.
