Cathy Johnson

Cathy Johnson has a diverse range of experience in the healthcare industry, primarily focusing on cardiac care. Cathy most recently worked as a Cath Lab/OR RN at Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium (ANTHC) starting in 2017. Prior to that, they were a Lead Cath Lab/Surgery Center RN at Alaska Heart and Vasular Institute/Alaska Cardiovascular Surgery Center from 2012 to 2017. In this role, they were responsible for various cardiac procedures and also had administrative duties such as staff education and policy updates.

Before joining ANTHC, Cathy worked as a Per Diem RN at Kapilolani Medical Center Pali Momi in Aiea, HI from 2005 to 2007. Cathy also worked as an Independent RN Contractor at Stat Cardiology in Torrance, CA from 2000 to 2003.

Cathy's earlier experience includes roles at Mission Hospital as a Clinical Nurse II from 1994 to 2000. During this time, they worked in the Cardiac ICU, Cardiac Cath Lab, and also served as an interim manager of the Cath Lab. Cathy also worked at St. John's Hospital in Santa Monica, CA as a Clinical Nurse I from 1992 to 1994, and as a Perdiem RN at UCLA Medical Center from 1992 to 1994.

Cathy Johnson attended the UCLA School of Nursing from 1988 to 1992, where they obtained their Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree. Cathy'sfield of study during this time was nursing.
