Paul Mitchell has over 20 years of experience in facilities management and related roles. Paul has held leadership positions in various healthcare organizations, including the Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium, Yukon-Kuskokwim Health Corporation, PeaceHealth, Memorial Medical Center Las Cruces, Sunrise Hospital, Alaska Regional Hospital, Mat-Su Regional Medical Center, and Frances Mahon Deaconess Hospital. Throughout their career, Paul has been responsible for overseeing plant operations, environmental and safety programs, security, construction management, and biomedical engineering. Paul has successfully completed multiple Joint Commission inspections and implemented improvements in facilities' environment of care/life safety. Paul has also managed infrastructure projects and achieved cost reductions through service contract management. Paul is known for their strong focus on cleanliness, safety/security, and patient satisfaction.

Paul Mitchell attended Phillips College from 1991 to 1993, earning an Associate of Science (A.S.) degree in Electronics Engineering. In addition to their degree, they have obtained certifications in their field. Paul became a Certified Healthcare Safety Professional (CHSP) from the International Board for Certification of Safety Managers in December 1998 and a Certified Healthcare Facility Manager (CHFM) from the American Hospital Association in June 2002.
