Laura Swihart Thacker has extensive experience in guest services and development, currently serving as Development and Guest Services Supervisor at the Alaska SeaLife Center since May 2021. Alaska SeaLife Center

The Alaska SeaLife Center generates and shares scientific knowledge to promote understanding and stewardship of Alaska's marine ecosystems. While primarily dedicated to marine research, the Center is the only permanent facility permitted to rescue and rehabilitate marine mammals and birds, and is the only public aquarium in the state of Alaska. The Alaska SeaLife Center is located on the shores of Resurrection Bay in beautiful Seward, Alaska. The facility is open year-round.
