While primarily dedicated to marine research, the Center is the only permanent facility permitted to rescue and rehabilitate marine mammals and birds, and is the only public aquarium in the state of Alaska. The Alaska SeaLife Center is located on the shores of Resurrection Bay in beautiful Seward, Alaska. The facility is open year-round.
