Tom Codling

Tom Codling is a seasoned professional in solutions engineering, currently serving as Snr Manager, Solutions Engineering, EMEA at Alation since January 2019. With a foundational role in establishing Alation's EMEA presence, Tom has overseen significant growth in sales and support functions following the company’s Series C and D funding rounds. Prior to Alation, Tom held positions at Mendix and Actifio, where responsibilities included addressing data-related challenges and enhancing mission-critical application resilience. Tom's extensive experience also includes a tenure at EMC, where expertise in backup and recovery solutions was honed, complemented by a specialization in disaster recovery solution design. Tom holds a degree from the University of Reading.
