Darién García Nieves

Darién García Nieves is a seasoned professional in software engineering and management with extensive experience spanning over a decade. Currently serving as a Senior Engineering Manager at AlayaCare since October 2020, Darién has previously held key roles including Engineering Manager and Senior Developer. Prior to AlayaCare, Darién worked at iTexico as a Technical Delivery Manager and was employed at Woodfinn as a Software Developer. Earlier career experiences include positions at IPICyT and CENDA as a web application developer and network administrator, respectively. Darién's leadership capabilities were further demonstrated at Vallocy where a distributed development team was led in agile methodologies utilizing .NET technologies. Education includes a degree in Computer Science from Universidad de La Habana, where teaching roles were also undertaken.
