Greg Harwell

Greg Harwell joined the Company as Group President of Albany Engineered Composites on November 4, 2019. He brings more than 25 years of aerospace experience to Albany as well as a proven track record of success in organic and inorganic growth, profit margin expansion, and world class customer service in times of growth and consolidation.

Before joining Albany, Mr. Harwell actively consulted for a Private Equity Company engaged in growing their global portfolios through rapid acquisition and integration. He served on the acquisition team and led efforts to create the operational framework for the integrations. Prior to this, Mr. Harwell served as President of Precision Castparts Corporation’s (PCC) Aerostructures and was responsible for managing all aspects of the organization with revenues of over 1.5B and 30 facilities globally. Prior to this role, he served for 15 years in several vice presidential roles at Arconic (Alcoa Fastening Systems & Rings). Mr. Harwell has gained recognition for his aptitude for operational excellence, including continuous improvement activities and productivity savings as a result of Lean Manufacturing/Six Sigma programs. He has an MBA from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business.
