John Depaola

John DePaola serves as the Senior Vice President and System Chief Administrative Officer at Albany Medical Center since January 2016. Prior to this role, John DePaola held the position of Executive Associate Dean and College COO at Albany Medical College from April 2005 to December 2015. His earlier experience includes serving as the Administrator of Radiology at The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia from September 2001 to March 2005 and as the Administrator for Emergency Medicine and Radiology at UPMC from July 1991 to August 2001. John DePaola holds an Executive Leadership for Healthcare Professionals Certificate from Cornell Johnson Graduate School of Management, a Master’s Degree in Health Care Administration/Management, an MBA in Health Care Administration/Management, and a Bachelor's degree in Economics, all from the University of Pittsburgh.
