Rebecca Dawson has over 14 years of experience in human resources. Rebecca started their career as a Training Associate at Sanofi Pasteur in 2007. After that, they worked as a Recruitment Contractor and Training Coordinator at Lowe's Companies Canada, where they successfully built the Canadian training platform and opened 15 store locations. Rebecca then moved on to work as a Human Resources Coordinator at DMC Mining Services, where they provided HR services and expertise to senior managers. Following that, they joined Canadian Bearings Ltd. as a Senior Human Resources Business Partner, responsible for managing and supporting HR functions across the organization. Currently, they are working at Albarrie Canada Limited, where they initially started as a Human Resources Supervisor and later got promoted to Human Resources Manager. In their current role, they have successfully built and implemented HR and safety programs and processes, as well as built and managed a team.
Rebecca Dawson completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from Laurentian University/Université Laurentienne from 2003 to 2006. Rebecca then pursued a Human Resources Certificate in Human Resources Management as a Post Graduate Certificate from Georgian College in 2006 to 2007. In addition, they obtained a certification in Cultures of Belonging from Georgian College in the year 2023.
