Hussein Al-Hussein

Principal Architect, Customer Solutions at Albeado

Hussein holds MS & Ph.D. degrees in Electrical and Computer Engineering, from Stanford University. He has since been working in Silicon Valley industry and academia, teaching computer science and engineering in local universities and colleges. Most of his industry experience has been in image processing, computer vision, OpenCV, algorithms, and scientific programming. He has 26 issued patents in USPTO and 26 others in EPO and Japan PO. Most of his patents are in image and text processing. He also extensive publications in the field. His innovative contributions span several 2D barcode readers, OCR in English and Arabic, Watermarking, Steganography, and Bank check/doc. reader using OpenCV. In his earlier life he wrote EDA industry’s first static timing analyzer for CMOS and ECL for LSI Logic.
