Alex Gutierrez

Alex Gutierrez serves as the Vice President of Mergers & Acquisitions at Albemarle Corporation since December 2017, specializing in energy transition and specialty chemicals while driving cross-functional projects. Prior roles at Albemarle include Vice President of Battery Grade Lithium Hydroxide and Vice President of Corporate Development, where Alex focused on growth in the Lithium sector. Before joining Albemarle, Alex held leadership positions at L&L Products, managing business development, marketing, and a family-owned venture, and served as Corporate Development Manager at Milliken & Co. and Vice President of Marketing and Sales at DIAB Inc. Education includes an MBA from Harvard Business School and a B.S. in Ocean Engineering from the Florida Institute of Technology.
