Ankur Jariwala

Ankur Jariwala is a strategic technology leader with extensive experience in the energy sector, currently serving as Head of Advanced Programs at Albemarle Corporation since April 2023. Jariwala is recognized for transforming the lithium extraction landscape through the commercialization of innovative processes that lower costs and enhance production capacity. Prior to this role, Jariwala held the position of Sr Director of Technology Deployment at Evonik, where a major joint development agreement was negotiated to advance sustainable business solutions, and established a corporate technical service organization. At Schlumberger, as Program Director of Schlumberger New Energy, Jariwala led teams to commercialize Lithium and CCUS technologies amid COVID-19 challenges. Earlier experience includes roles at Cameron and Engine Yard, demonstrating a strong track record in product management and energy management, complemented by a Master of Science degree in Chemical and Natural Gas Engineering from Texas A&M University and a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Mumbai.
