Jordy Cornel

Jordy Cornel has extensive work experience in the finance and accounting field. Jordy worked at Albemarle Corporation from 2005 to 2019, where they held various positions including Director Corporate Manufacturing Finance. In this role, they were responsible for managing the overall process and work distribution within the manufacturing finance Refinery Catalysts group. Jordy also worked on process improvement and standardization initiatives and served as the primary finance point of contact for the manufacturing division vice presidents. Before that, Jordy worked as a Plant Controller and a Senior Cost Accountant at Albemarle Corporation.

In addition to their work at Albemarle Corporation, Jordy also served as a Board Member at SPA - Pension fund from 2010 to 2018. Prior to joining Albemarle Corporation, they worked as an Assistant Controller at Aalbers & Stevens belastingadviseurs from 2002 to 2005.

Jordy Cornel earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree from Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences from 1997 to 2002. Later, they pursued a post-graduate degree in Business Administration from the same university in 2008-2009. Finally, they completed a Master of Science in Controlling from Avans Plus from 2016 to 2018.
