Scott Kim

Vice President, Capital Projects, Americas/europe, Lithium at Albemarle

Scott Kim has extensive work experience in the fields of engineering, project management, and capital planning. Scott currently serves as the Vice President of Capital Projects for Albemarle Corporation, where they lead a team responsible for site sustaining projects and new technology development. Prior to this, they worked at Eastman as the Director of Circular Economy Capital Program and Director of Capital Projects. Scott also held the position of Director of Corporate Engineering at Stepan Company and Director of Engineering and Project Management at Enviva LP. Additionally, they served as an Engineering Manager at W.R. Grace and held various roles at Honeywell, including Project Development Manager, Program Manager, Project Manager, and Project Engineer.

Scott Kim attended the University of Virginia from 1993 to 1997, where they obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering. Scott later pursued their Master of Business Administration degree at Cornell Johnson Graduate School of Management from 2008 to 2010.
