Marcel Holtmaat

Marcel Holtmaat is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in the grocery retail sector, currently serving as VP Distributie at Albert Heijn since July 2024, overseeing the daily operations of 13 distribution centers. Prior to this role, Marcel held several key positions at Ahold Delhaize and Albert Heijn, including Lead eCommerce AholdDelhaize Europe and VP Operations Acquisition Deen, where Marcel successfully integrated 38 DEEN stores into Albert Heijn’s network. With a strong background in logistics and store operations, Marcel has been responsible for the operational execution of over 200 supermarkets and various logistics functions within the Albert Heijn network.
