Valerie Berger

Valerie Berger, CPA, CA, CMA, currently serves as Senior Vice President and CFO at Alberta Blue Cross since July 2020. Prior to this role, Valerie held various positions at ATCO Group from January 2017 to July 2020, including Vice President Financial Services and Vice President, Regulatory & Controller for ATCO Gas and ATCO Pipelines. Additional experience includes serving as VP Regulatory & Controller for ATCO Gas from March 2013 to May 2016, and as Director of Internal Audit at ATCO Group from July 2010 to March 2013. Valerie's educational background includes completing the Richard Ivey Executive Program, ongoing studies with the Institute of Corporate Directors, and professional designations from the Alberta Institute of Chartered Accountants and the Certified Management Accountants of Alberta.
