Gerry French

Gerry French is a seasoned professional in project and program management with extensive experience in the energy sector. Currently serving as a Senior Project Manager at the Alberta Electric Service Operator (AESO) since January 2023, Gerry manages multiple grid reliability projects focused on grid and market management. Previously, Gerry held senior roles at prominent companies including Nutrien, Cenovus Energy, and Husky Energy, overseeing the implementation of various Energy Trading and Risk Management (ETRM) solutions. Gerry also has a solid background in IT management consulting through JCL Consulting Corp. and has contributed to significant projects at Capital Power and Plains Midstream Canada. Gerry completed a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance from the University of Alberta and a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from NAIT.
