Hussain Qureshi

Hussain Qureshi is an experienced engineer with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Calgary, graduated in 2019. Currently serving as an Engineer In Training at AESO since May 2019, Qureshi has undertaken various roles in Operations Planning, Project Engineering, Energy Management Systems, and Transmission System Modeling. Prior experience includes a Distribution Planning Co-Op at ATCO Electric, where skills in power system simulation and load studies were developed. Qureshi also contributed as an Executive at IEEE, managing communication and organizing events for engineering students, and participated in Team ZEUS Electric Motorsports focusing on motor controller integration and electrical power generation.
