Iraj Rahimi

Iraj Rahimi is a professional with extensive experience in the power systems engineering field. Iraj currently holds the position of Manager, Standards, Modeling and Engineering Services at AESO. Previously, Iraj has worked in various roles at companies like AltaLink and ATCO Electric, where Iraj led power system studies, operational planning, and provided technical direction to control center operators. In addition, Iraj has represented Canada in CIGRE meetings, conducted research projects, and mentored junior engineers. With a Doctor of Philosophy in Power Engineering and Power Electronics from the University of Alberta, Iraj Rahimi is a dedicated and knowledgeable individual in the power systems industry.
