Derek Leung

Derek Leung, CPA, CMA, has over a decade of financial and management experience, currently serving as a Manager of Financial Planning and Analysis at the Alberta Energy Regulator since May 2012. Throughout this tenure, Derek has held various leadership roles, including Manager of Asset, Revenue Management and Systems, and Senior Finance Business Partner. Prior to joining the Alberta Energy Regulator, Derek worked as an Accounts Payable Specialist at WasteLess Environmental and gained managerial experience as a Branch Manager at Enterprise Rent-A-Car. Derek holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Operations Management from the University of Calgary and has completed the CMA Alberta program.
