Shaun Siewert

Shaun Siewert is an accomplished accounting professional with extensive experience in financial management and accounting operations across various industries. Currently serving as Accounting Manager at Alberta Energy Regulator since March 2022, Shaun has previously held managerial roles at Inter Pipeline, Horizon North Logistics Inc., Calgary Board of Education, and Talisman Energy. At Talisman Energy, Shaun oversaw teams of over 60 employees and managed significant financial processes, including the payment of approximately 400,000 invoices valued at over $4 billion annually, while also ensuring compliance with internal controls and process improvements. Shaun's educational credentials include a CGA designation from the Certified General Accounts Association of Alberta and an Advanced General Accounting Certificate from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology, complemented by a degree in Renewable Resource Management from Lethbridge Polytechnic.
